Recipe of The Day | Honey Paprika Chicken Curry Leaves

😎A day for a new recipe for the family. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³

Today, I felt like trying a new recipe, something different from the usual. I came across this idea and gathered all the needed ingredients from my kitchen. At the same time, I was looking for things to share on Hive, adding a bit of creativity to my day.

Surprisingly, my wife, who usually takes care of our meals every day, noticed me cooking. Her face lit up with happiness, like a shining diamond. I realized that this could be a small break for her, considering she cooks for us every day, even on weekends. So, my decision to take charge of the kitchen this weekend was not just about trying something new but also about giving her a break.

I enjoy the smell of curry leaves when they mix with chicken or meat, especially in curry dishes. But, there's a challenge – my wife can't have anything too spicy due to health reasons. So, I decided to experiment by replacing the spiciness with a gentle grilling or dry-frying method. I added a mix of salty and sweet honey flavors to compensate.

The combined scents of curry leaves and a bit of paprika promised to make the taste even better. As I share my cooking journey, I invite feedback. If something seems off in my new recipe, I'd appreciate any suggestions from the community here. I'm eager to learn and improve this new culinary adventure.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³Air-Fried Honey Paprika Chicken with Curry Leaves Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • A handful of curry leaves, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix together honey, paprika, chopped curry leaves, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.

  3. Place the chicken breasts in a bowl and coat them evenly with the honey and spice mixture. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  4. Brush the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  5. Place the marinated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.

  6. Air fry the chicken at 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

  7. Garnish with additional chopped curry leaves for freshness.

  8. Serve the air-fried honey paprika chicken with your favorite side dish.

Enjoy this delicious and healthier version of honey paprika chicken made with the convenience of an air fryer!

Hi, @marlyncabrera, just for your information, I also got these curry leaves from my neighbor. She used to plant many kinds of herbs and was so kind to allow me to pluck the curry leaves. I think you can find curry leaves in your place too. Normally, you can get them in an Indian shop, spicy. Have a try; the taste and smell are not bad too. Cheers.
