Las ventanas de la percepción
The other day I started thinking, what could be interesting for my first post on hive? And I decided to create a collection of photos of the facades of the old town.
The history of these little houses is very interesting. They were built at the time of the Spanish Colony. To live there you can't modify the facades except for the color of the paint.
Inside they are quite rough I must say, as they are originally made of bahareque:
Bahareque, bajareque, bareque or fajina is the name given to a system of housing construction using interwoven sticks or reeds and mud covering them. This technique has been used since ancient times for the construction of housing in indigenous peoples of America. I liked the idea of the facades so much that I want to go there again and make a series with a professional camera. Maybe inspired by the doors... I honestly can't decide. I love doors, windows, roofs, facades!

This is Venezuela street, in Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela, others call it "patriotic love", which I asked the people of the neighborhood and they answered "either one works" and 😂. Well for me it was a serious matter, because I omitted to tell that the historic center of my city is located on top of rocks and hills and the streets are super steep, one does cardio to go up and down!
These photos were taken by myself with my infinix 10 phone, I used Adobe lightroom to intensify the details.
