Butterfly pea flower | November Garden Update.

Butterfly/blue peas or pigeonwings flower, no matter what name you call this, it's always beautiful. The bright blue flowers with the background of green small leaves make my garden looks pleasing.

I planted the seed of the blue peas this August. My previous plant died when I was traveling back home because of a lack of water and nurturing. I was so sad but after having this new one, I'm feeling hopeful again.

There are not many flowers in our country which are vibrant blue. So adding this to my balcony brings a whole different look amount all the other colorful flowers.

You may have known that blue pea flowers are rich in antioxidants. Tea and coffee with this flower are quite popular. Now as this single plant is giving me around 10 flowers a day, so I sometimes make it at home too.

If you see the back of my balcony, you will realize why I'm so excited about my plants.

Living in apartments, surrounded by many highrises limits our opportunity to assess nature and fresh air. These plants, this corner of my house is what adds great value to our daily life.

Waiting for the seeds to mature so I can preserve them for the next year.

This plant you are seeing is from my own preserved seed from the previous plant that died. It makes me feel good to have a little bit of the same in this plant. It's like having a pet, if you know, you know.

I usually preserve the mature seeds in a box and distribute them to my neighborhood and to my relatives and friends. My mother-in-law and one of my friends have the plants as far as I know. Isn't it enough to feel amazed?

There are already more than 20 beans, which means a whole lot of seeds for the upcoming year!

The best thing about this plant is, they don't require much care, a good amount of sunlight and water can let them survive on its own. I have cut off some of the tips of the plants. I get to know, it helps the plant to grow more branches and gives strength to the roots. Hopefully, this plant will last many years.
