Hello there! It's my 4th post in the Pinmapple community and thanks for reading this!

As background, I have done a few overseas trips last year, as some of my friends here would know, and I have been wanting to share some of the interesting places that I have visited. However, life has been busy and I have been procrastinating penning these entries and recently, I revisited this target of mine and finally broke the inertia!

One of my memorable trips in 2023 was to Tokyo, Japan, and during that trip, I did quite a few day trips to nearby cities and towns. Earlier this week, I wrote about visiting the peaceful Karuizawa, as well as Part 1 for Atami. Today, I will continue to share about Atami in Part 2.

After the scenic views, we headed for lunch at Ocean Spa Fuua and here's what I had! A very simple meal.

Thereafter we headed for the onsen, and the view was just so amazing! Unfortunately, I couldn't take any photos there, but there was an outdoor onsen which looked all the way out to the sea. It was so relaxing and calming to relax in the warm waters, listen to the waves and watch the boats go by. After a good long soak, we went to the relaxation lounge, bought a drink, and continue to chill.

Reluctantly, we left the onsen because we still had other places to visit. We took a short walk and reached Atami Ginza, which was supposedly a shopping district but the streets turned out to be quite quiet and underwhelming. I guess it's not the type of shopping districts we see in cities.

Nonetheless, we found a cafe selling desserts, more specifically, milk puddings! The decor and ambience was great too, so we went in to satisfy our sweet tooth!

Thereafter, we made our way towards the Sky Deck where it's the sea view once again! Very peaceful and tranquil.

Over there, I saw these structures and decided to position myself right in the middle to snap this photo. They called this the Moon Terrace. Interesting, isn't it?

And we finally arrived at the Atami Sun Beach! Lots of beach resorts and activities here. Quite a number of locals were there, playing beach sports or just gathering to chat and have fun on the beach.

With that, that's all for my sharing for Atami over two parts! I can't repeat enough, that Atami really gave off a relaxing vibe to me and it was so different from the typical cities we often experienced. Not only was the peacefulness and tranquility an attraction in itself, the views were amazing too! I had friends who saw those photos and asked me which place this was. So if you happen to be in Japan or Tokyo, I would recommend visiting Atami! Also, let me know in the comments if you have been to Atami, and what are your thoughts about this place?

Finally, thanks for reading my 4th post in the community! More to come I promise! :)

P.S. I have also tried to document my posts in one table so it's easy to reference too!

Why was the resistor fired from his job of leading the orchestra?
He was a terrible conductor.
