Replacing old window film for better comfort
Greetings and Good morning all. Is been 10 years for my car film and is time to get ride of it due to cracks and bubble air getting into it. It effects the visibility and is getting less protected from UV and IRR during the day time.
As you can see from the pic above shows that aged window film is now more crispy due to heat all year around as Thailand is hot and humid most of the time.
Got my appointment with this shop as I saw there's a promotion for this month. Before heading for the film your vehicle will needed to go for a bath to ensure dust are removed so that it doesn't affects the process of film later on. Man tbh I didn't expect of this.
Waiting area for the customer since it takes more than 3 hours to get it done.
There is this 90s civic EK displayed beside of it which still kicking strong today.
Old film are being steamed up so that is easier to remove and avoiding glue sticking up.
New film are being cut precisely with cutter blade and is being done inside a air conditioned room to minimize dust from being entering the film.
After 4 hours of waiting, is finally done. This round I getting between 50% for all window. Not gonna get too dark as it affects night time driving.
So that's for today. Do you use film for your vehicle? Thank you for the support and see you around.
we have tinted windows here , but not all arround only backseat windows and rear window , front windows are only allowed 75% for safety reasons
