Friday walk with newly open little Japan park + grilled for family

Greetings and Good day all. What's up for Friday and weekend? Well today I wanted to share with you this garden + cafe which I find it best for a short break.

Shiny dinosaur is a landmark over here as the city i'm staying discovers the fossil of it. So eventually it became the icon star over here.

Let's have lunch before walking around since i arrived here at the noon. Well you're right they even have a restaurant over here as well. Just in case you're hungry and they got it cover for you.

Little London red phone block with newly deco park. Wide and nice to walk around.

Instagram able spot here -Queen style. Well lucky enough when i'm here doesn't required to queue for this.

As I'm looking for the new park, I noticed this pond of koi fish. Which means we're getting there soon.

I do enjoy the scenery during my way there. Here's all green with stone mimic nature pathway.

They decorated one section into little Japan theme too. With some elements such as the shrine gate and Japan bamboo. Amazing.

This is how in Thailand steamed sticky rice as is one of the important source which I used charcoal to steam them.

Since there's some charcoal left I decided to use it for grilling squid. And for dinner. Tadaa ~ Grilled squid with self made seafood sauce.

And you drip it with sauce and enjoy with my family. So that's for today. Do you like grilled squid like I do? Comment below. Thank you for your support and see you soon.

I enjoyed going through the park and seeing a little bit of Japan (where I live) and England (where I'm from). I used to use those old red telephone boxes a lot, so that photo brought back memories of something I've not done for a very long time!

Do you like grilled squid like I do?

It's okay... but I'm sure I don't like it as much as you do. My favourite way to eat squid is squid sushi.

I bet the red box brings back a lot memories for you. Man that's such a great idea and design which last until these days.

Yes, it did! Not only visual memories, but things like the weight of the door as you pulled it open, and the aroma of the inside... oh, and also the old rotary dial. A quick local phone call cost 2 pence!

Rotary dial with the high pitch incoming ring is so classics. Too bad nowadays cant find it nor hear it anymore. But it was a good time with memory for us. Dont forget the rotary dial that rolls back after you dial on a number.

I love the Koi pond area.. We have Kois at home. my brother takes care of them, because people say it brings good luck and wealth.. well, we aren't wealthy yet, so maybe soon?! 😆🤣
Any ways, I love the grilled squid 😋,, may I know what's in your sauce?? I hope it's not a secret sauce. 🤣

Wow! A relaxing Friday walk through a freshly opened Little Japan park sounds is the perfect way to recharge. I like how the place has a bit of everything, Japanese elements, Queen-style photo spots, koi ponds, and even a shiny dinosaur with a cool backstory. Totally unique and full of character!

Nice dinosaur landmark; different from the usual design. Ponds with Koi can beautify the park/surrounding; they really look attractive. I love the layout of this park and especially with bamboos at certain spots. It looks well-maintained and neat. Grilled squid is delicious but my favorite is fried calamari.
