Monomad Challenge – Random Shots Around The Neighborhood
Friday, 2022-10-07
Here's my entry for the #monomad challenge.
It must have been more than three years since I last used my Sony A6000 mirrorless camera, and I thought I give it a try again using the rarely used kit lens E 55-210mm f4.5-6.3 OSS.
I was taking random shots outside my house when I saw a cement truck appear from the corner of the street and stopped in the middle of the road.
The view at the end of the road from my house's left (North side).
A cement truck stopped in the middle of the road waiting for a small minivan to move out of its way.
The view from my house's right (South side).
My neighbor from across the street, a dentist, and the stray cats.
A lamp post in front of the dentist's house.
Another lamp post on the North side, about 15 meters away, and when zoomed the serial number on the lamp is still readable.
The serial number of the lamp is: 310223051C5
Flowers from the top of the next-door neighbor's wall.
I like how the result turned out from using the telephoto lens. This would be a perfect lens to use for candid street photography.
