Two beautiful flowers: Barrelier's Wood Sorrel and Jewels of Opar
You don't have to go to a grand garden to find beautiful, colorful flowers; sometimes they grow in unexpected and often overlooked places, like the one I encountered here. I found these beautiful flowers in a small bush by the side of the road. Both flowers I encountered were very small, yet they possessed a powerful allure. Both were equally beautiful and captivating.
The two flowers were Barrelier's Wood Sorrel and Jewels of Opar. They both grew on the same soil and under the same sky, yet neither wanted to be alike. They each had their own distinct characteristics. Barrelier's Wood Sorrel was soft, while Jewels of Opar boasted bold colors. They complemented each other, providing beauty to the eye that took the time to observe them.
Besides their beauty, these two flowers are a food source for bees, wasps, and small butterflies. They came and went to visit the two flowers. But for some reason, I couldn't capture any of them. Most of them were very wild. They all fled when I approached. Maybe they didn't want to spoil the happiness of the two small flowers that I was making the object of my photography today.
