In the year 2020, Robert Sylvester Kelly released the song that touched many people and today keeps encouraging people.
R.Kelly (by his stage name) enlightened the world with the block bust R&B “The storm is over”.

The lyrics of this song showcases a condition of hopelessness and turbulence which was suddenly shifted away for liberation and hope to come through by formidable power. Though in the song he never mentioned God, leaving an empty space in the mind of the listeners to fit in whether God or not has that awestriking intervention or not.

From the lyrics of the song which started with “I was in a tunnel and couldn't see the light” this signifies a time of depression, a period of difficulty without hope, many of us have been there. There are times when we could hardly pay the bills, times when we can't buy good things that we desire for ourselves, times when we could hardly provide for our family and have some savings left. Those times comes in our lives and there doesn't seem to be a way out, there is a solution, there is a way.

The inspiration i got from this song is great, we all have our little beginnings. You may look up to a wealthy family and deep down inside of you, you feel cheated and that some have it all. Honestly, until you get closer to them, you will know they too have a problem that makes them have sleepless nights which money can't solve. There is hardly anyone living on planet earth today without any problem.

Though some problem may appear to be more critical than another but I promise you, there are people today who are currently experiencing sleepless nights on a particular issue but if they tell you about it, it wouldn't worry you for a minute and possibly might not even appear to you as a problem because you find it easy, practically you may have achieved that or mentally you find it easy.

The song lyrics ended with “the storm is over, I can see the sunshine” this clearly portrays that in the midst of all the troubles, hardship and heartbreaks, so long as you're still alive on earth and don't take own life. You're surely going to smile one day. The practical example is weather and seasons, there are some seasons I don't like and there are some weather conditions I may want to remove from existence if I have the power, but in the mist of all this changes, finally ones favorite season will come up.

There's a lot we could obtain from the inspiration behind this song and I believe the first is that we must never give up rather let's make preparations as we await to welcome our long awaited season, our time of happiness and fulfillment.
