Summer Chipmunk 🐿️
The Siberian chipmunk, The Asian chipmunk (Eutamias sibiricus), also called common chipmunk
I don't see these funny furry friends very often. Most likely their number is decreasing. In the forest live birds of prey that hunt them, as well as wild dogs. And I also noticed that chipmunks change their habitats, more and more often I meet them in the old cemetery near the forest, rather than in the forest itself. And it's probably for the best. There is a tradition, when visiting the graves, to leave some food on them. And chipmunks are happy to eat this food later.
The easiest way to see a chipmunk is in the spring, when there are still no dense green thickets of grass, but the skin of a chipmunk is well disguised as thawed brown leaves.
