Quinceañera photo shoot in a classic convertible car (ENG/ ESP).

Greetings to all the members of this photography-loving community. A few days ago I published a post about quinceañera photo sessions. Today I'm going to continue telling you a little bit about this tradition.
Aside from dressing up in those traditional and classic outfits for their photo sessions, many girls who turn fifteen also rent a ride around Havana in a classic car. They dress up in these colorful and ornate dresses and drive around the city's landmarks in these vintage cars, which are also brightly colored. It is very common to see these convertible cars passing by, with the birthday girls in the back, honking their horns loudly for people to see and greet them.
In this case, we stopped near the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, which has a classic architecture, and it was a good match for the quinceañera's outfit and the car, a red 50's Dodge.
The most difficult part of the session was the sun and the heat, I had to use an ad200 flash to balance the lighting of the scene. Luckily we finished pretty quickly, and with photos that our dear quinceañera loved, making it worth every effort we made.

Un saludo para todos los integrantes de esta comunidad amante de la fotografía. Hace días publique un post sobre las sesiones fotográficas a quinceañeras. Hoy voy a seguirles comentando un poco sobre está tradición.
Aparte de vestirse con esos trajes tradicionales y clásicos en sus sesiones de fotos, muchas muchachas que cumplen quince años, también alquilan un paseo por la Habana en un carro clásico. Se visten con estos vestidos bastante coloridos y de diseños recargados, y pasean por lugares emblemáticos de la ciudad, en estos carros vintage, que también tienen colores llamativos. Es muy común ver pasar estos autos descapotables, con las cumpleañeras atrás, sonando el claxon alto para que la gente la vea y la salude.
En este caso, paramos cerca del Hotel Nacional de Cuba, que tiene una arquitectura clásica, y me hacía un buen complemento con el traje de la quinceañera y con el carro, un Dodge de los 50' de color rojo.
‌Lo más difícil de la sesión, fue el sol y calor que habían, me tuve que apoyar de un flash ad200 para equilibrar la iluminación de la escena. Por suerte terminamos bastante rápido, y con unas fotos que le gustaron muchísimo a nuestra querida quinceañera, haciendo que valiera la pena cada esfuerzo que hicimos.
