Poem- Color of Lifetime
Writing club
Though your hand have
Once again unspun
The thread of my heart
I would weave it
Renew in another sky
For in some parallel silence
In a world less torn apart
I can imagine a heaven
Folding your sock
And watching the rain die
To sit with you
Not at life is grand feast
But in its quiet
Dusty wake
To tally the cost of our ages
To sort the whites from the colors
And call it a lifetime
For your sake
