Golden Skies of La Albufera. Sunset Stories in Valencia (EN - ES)

Hello friends from Photography and Lovers. Today I want to show you these photos I took with a great friend during the sunset at La Albufera in Valencia, a place I really love going to and where I always end up taking lots of pictures.Hola amigos de Photography Lovers. Hoy quiero mostraros estas fotos que tomé con mi gran amiga en la puesta del sol de la Albufera de Valencia, un sitio al que me gusta mucho ir y tomar muchas fotos siempre.

I wanted to start with these three photos, the first two because I love them. Not only because of the sunset, but also because of this fisherman I managed to capture as he was heading out to fish. Both are equally beautiful; I couldn’t decide, so I included them both—one has a lot of contrast, and I love that dark, dramatic look. The other, however, is much brighter, which I also like because more details can be seen in the photo. Since I couldn’t decide, I added both. And then there’s a close-up photo of me watching the sunset, positioned right at the edge of the frame, with the light burning slightly into the border of the picture. I liked it a lot, and that’s why I decided to include it among the first three.Quería empezarc on estas tres fotos, las dos primeras porque me encantan. No solo por la puesta de sol, sino por este pescador que pude captar cuando se dirigía a pescar. Las dos son igual de bonitas; no me decidía, así que puse las dos, porque una tiene muchísimo contraste, pero me encanta que tenga un contraste tan oscuro. La otra, en cambio, con mucho más brillo, con lo cual también me gusta porque se ve bastante de la foto. Como no me decidía, puse las dos. Y luego una foto mía de cerca, observando la puesta de sol, la cual está justo en el borde de la foto, quemando la entrada del borde de la foto. Me gustó bastante y por eso decidí poner esta entre las tres primeras..

I really like these photos where I played a lot with the sun and with our position, especially in the first one, where the rays go right above my friend’s shoulder, creating this beautiful sunlight, and next to it you can see a small fishermen’s boat. I really like the second one too: we appear hugging, almost completely in black contrast, giving the spotlight once again to the sunset. Then, these two photos of my friend looking at the horizon, and lastly, the two of us hugging. It feels very tender to me.Me gustan mucho estas fotos en las que jugué mucho con el sol y con nuestra posición, sobre todo en la primera, en la que los rayos van justo por encima del hombro de mi amiga, creando este sol tan bonito, y al lado se ve un barquito de los pescadores. La segunda me gusta mucho: salimos los dos abrazados, casi completamente en contraste negro, dando la importancia otra vez a la puesta de sol. Después, estas dos de mi amiga mirando al horizonte, y por último, los dos abrazados. Me da mucha ternura.

Lastly, I want to finish with these two photos that I find spectacular. The colors… this range of orange, black, grey, yellow, and reddish tones… The sky blending with the water of the Albufera looks fantastic to me. It felt like the perfect ending for this post. I hope you like it as much as I do.Por último, quiero acabar con estas dos fotos que me parecen espectaculares. Los colores… esta gama de naranja, negro, gris, amarillo, rojizo… El cielo mezclándose con el agua de la Albufera me parece fantástica. Me parecía un cierre perfecto para este post. Espero que os guste tanto como a mí.
