Interesting post, I didn't know that birds oil their feathers, no wonder they look shiny. I had seen the preening thing, it's great to see how they clean up their food remains.
Nature with its wildlife is fantastic and visits you to capture those great moments.

Thank you, and the next time that you see a bird lifting its tail above its head, then you will know that it is fetching oil to spread on its feathers.
