Shhhh... Listen! Do You Hear The Sound Of Tailon Island?

Tailon Island is a remote and privately owned, pinkish-white sand combination in the Philippines. Located in the province of Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte.

Looking down using a drone the island looks like a TALON of an eagle. Tailon Island is also called Parola Island as there is a Lighthouse built there for the fishermen.

Photo credit to THE PINOY TRAVELLER for the aerial view of the island.

According to the tourism officer every Wednesday the island is closed for cleaning. The place doesn't provide accommodations for visitors as it preserver its pristine condition. There is a stretch of coconuts and on the other side of the island has plenty of white stones in the sands.

This place is not yet well known even to the commoners of the city as the government doesn't promote it heavily. The reason is the island can only accommodate a small group of people not exceeding 200. Having a lot of tourists is not recommended to come to this place as the island is small and easily gets crowded. By walking by about 20 steps you are on the other side of the island.

Only a few things can be done on Tailon island like swimming, and boating. You can take a lot of pictures to post on your social media accounts. The place is refreshing and traveling from the island is only about 30 minutes from the port of the city.

Things to consider if you plan going here:

  1. Bring your own foods and water.
  2. I don't recommend to spend the night here.
  3. No electricity in the island so bring your own power bank.
  4. There is no comfort room to dump your resement in life. 😂😂😂😂 Just imagine your life you are a member of SURVIVORS tv show.
  5. Please collect all your plastic thrash.

In the tail end of the Parola Island there is are square tiders forming. Like in the picture below. According to surfertoday.com Swimming or surfing in the middle of a cross-sea is not something you should be doing, even if you're an experienced swimmer or wave rider. Cross swells can also cause boating accidents and shipwrecks.

What an exciting day. I've seen a couple articles like this now where someone's documenting a Philippine island. With each one, I wish I had a boat and a camera.
