Sara's birthday at Holland Park

My granddaughter Sara turned 10 last summer. To celebrate, she asked to be taken to Holland Park with a group of her classmates.

I have to tell you that Holland Park is an amusement park located in the northern part of Berlin. The options for children are very varied, and time there passes very quickly. We used public transportation to get to the park.

As its name suggests, the park has a Dutch theme. There's a windmill. Furthermore, the architecture of the different areas, the flowers, and the cheeses on sale help transport us mentally to the Netherlands.

The children enjoyed the outdoor games, the air mattresses, the water mattresses, and other attractions, but without a doubt their favorite activity and the one where they spent the most time was the tower with the slides. They didn't want to leave.

Just after noon, we went to a cafeteria-restaurant with a large area capable of handling the number of visitors. They offer a varied selection of food at a reasonable price. There, the children each chose what they liked and had a fun time.

After recharging their batteries with lunch, the group went through the slide tower again before heading to the area where the carousel and flying chairs were located.

Después de renovar energías con el almuerzo el grupo pasó nuevamente por la torre de toboganes antes de ir a la zona donde se encuentra el carrusel y las sillas voladoras.

It was time to return... Exhausted but happy, the children couldn't stop talking about their experiences and what they liked most. They took photos to remember the day, as some of them wouldn't be together the next year.

Llegó la hora del regreso... Agotados pero felices, los niños no paraban de contarse sus experiencias y lo que más les gustó. Se hicieron fotos para recordar ese día, pues algunos de ellos no continuarían juntos el próximo curso.
