Nanu Oya Udaradella Tamil College asked us for help for the academic year 2024 for their 115 children a few months ago....
According to that request, we a group of friends got together and fulfilled two of their requests as much as we could...
Providing all the 115 children with the necessary copy books for the whole year...
Providing 115 school bags for all children...
Friends provided financial support for this, and the shortfall was settled from the money remaining in the social care account of the IQ TESTS & GENERAL KNOWLEDGE - General Knowledge and Intelligence Test Group, by Nipul Goonesekera, the administrator in charge of the financial control of the group.
All these donations for the children of Udaradella will reach Nanu Oya Railway Station with us tomorrow, and on the morning of December 07, the Principal of Udaradella Tamil School hopes to distribute all the donations among the children...

Also, friends Irosh Perera and Pradeep Ruwan provided support for the transportation of all these goods by overseas train....
It is a great opportunity to say that humanity still exists among us, to be able to give such gifts to the sons and daughters of our own brothers and sisters in the upland plantations, who are living their lives amid difficulties in this era of economic difficulties for all of us.
