The Exotic Goa Langir Beach

Hello friends, game lovers, adventure lovers and beauty lovers in the #wordmappin community. Hopefully we are all in good health so that all our activities run smoothly. Welcome back to my post on a long journey to Goa Langir Beach, Lebak Regency, Banten, Indonesia with my family. Before I share the story about this trip, let me share about Goa Langir Beach. This beach is in a series of Sawarna beaches in Lebak Regency, Banten, Indonesia.

Woke up in the middle of the night to prepare for departure because the distance we traveled was quite far, which was around 143 kilometers from our house. Using the family car, we left at 02.30 with an estimated travel time of around 5 hours, so we predicted that if the trip went smoothly we would arrive at the location around 07.30. We had packed all our travel supplies, starting from food supplies, spare clothes and others. At 02.30 in the morning we were already on our way.

It turned out that our estimate was wrong because the journey started to get congested when approaching the Goa Langir tourist area. The entrance road to the tourist area is quite narrow and is dominated by visitors who bring motorbikes. We just arrived at the location at around 08.15. After paying the entrance ticket of IDR 10,000.00 per person and paying for vehicle parking of IDR 10,000.00, we immediately got out of the vehicle and walked towards the camping ground area of Pasir Putih Beach, Goa Langir.

It is called Goa Langir beach because this beach is located on a stretch of white sand with a towering limestone cliff as the boundary of the beach. On this limestone cliff there are several caves and these caves come from the geological process of coral reefs for tens of millions of years ago.
Here are some photos of the towering limestone cliffs and caves in the limestone cliffs.

The wide expanse of white sand is a camping ground area for visitors who want to spend the night by setting up tents. For visitors who really want to spend the night but do not bring a tent, along the beach there are buildings that we can rent to spend the night with family with a rental rate of around Rp 500,000.00 for one large room. From the building we rent we can enjoy the exoticism of the enchanting Goa Langir Beach.

A few dozen meters from the expanse of white sand, visitors can enjoy the blue waves of the sea, while swimming challenging the strong waves. To ensure the safety of visitors, there are several beach officers who continue to monitor the activities of beach visitors. Some of the beauty of the beach and white sand that is sometimes eroded by waves, I share in this post.

After being satisfied enjoying the natural scenery of the white sand beach and Langir cave, we decided to get ready to go home. But before going home, my family and I decided to have lunch at a restaurant not far from the white sand area. After changing clothes, we ate together with our family. The restaurant here provides various food menus in a buffet style.

After eating, we headed to the car to go home. I was still curious about the beauty of this area and before I got into the car, I took the time to take a picture with my cellphone camera not far from the expanse of white sand.

Thank you to all my friends who have stopped by my post this time. Hopefully this post provides useful information about a trip, about the natural beauty that exists in our part of the world, Indonesia.
