Election Day.

Hello fine people. How are we doing? It is another election day in my country today. A few days ago, we had the presidential election. Election is always like war here. It is quite crazy beacause some people always get shot and some people always get injured. It also depends on the location that you are voting from. We had the presidential election two weeks ago and it was quite rough. Some people fought which we now see as something that is normal here. It is crazy but I just told the truth. Hahaha. Well, I am glad that my presidential candidate won the election. That is so sweet to know.

Today is the governorship election across the majority of the states in my country. Some states have done their elections but today, the majority of states are doing their election. Let me tell you something. I am from two states. Hahaha, I was born in Lagos and that is why I can tell people that I am a Lagosian. Also, my parents are from Oyo state which makes me an indigene of Oyo state. I would have loved to vote but I was unable to register to collect my voter's card and again, I am scared because of the atrocities that some people cause during election period so it is better to stay at home. It is a good thing to exercise your franchise but there are times that it is not safe and the best way you can stay safe is by staying inside your house. Well, I am sitting, chilling and relaxing inside my house.

Also, it will not be nice for me not to follow the voting process even though I won't go outside to vote. We are in this together. It is Nigeria and we all are hoping to make Nigeria a great country someday. Well, how can I be a part of the process or how can I contribute to it? I know that it is a good thing to be informed about what is happening in the society. I tuned my channel to some news channels and I was able to see where my presidential candidate who won was exercising his franchise. I took some pictures of that and I would love to show.

I took to the streets not quite long. I went to take something in the shop and everywhere was calm and silent. My area is a very peaceful one all the time most especially during election period. Everywhere is just silent as if we are on holiday. Well, it is cool and I also took pictures of my street.
