Ruellia simplex

Assalamualaikum, my friends, this time I photographed a flower that we often find in rural areas and beside rice fields: Ruellia simplex.

Yes, this flower is very beautiful as a wildflower with its purple color and abundant flowers. However, what's unique about this flower is that when the sun is hot or it's midday, some of the flowers will stop blooming or even fall off.
However, even so, we can still see the flowers again the next morning because they bloom every morning and then fall off again in the afternoon.
In addition, this flower has its own benefits, such as for hypertension, heartburn, relieving kidney inflammation, urinary tract infections, coughs, skin irritations, and diabetes.
