Assalamu'alaikum, friends! This time I found a mushroom called Ganoderma applanatum.
As usual, I went to the garden to pick betel nuts. Suddenly, I glanced at an areca nut tree and saw a very brown mushroom underneath.
I immediately took a photo of it. The mushroom has a brown powder on top, and you know what's even cooler is that you can paint on the underside of this mushroom because the underside turns brown when you press it.

This mushroom is not edible because it is very hard, but it has other benefits, such as adding flavor to Asian dishes and can be made into hot herbal soups or fermented in lemon juice with onions.
This is a cooking method with sliced mushrooms to add umami flavor to fermented foods. This mushroom can also be used in tea.
That's all from me, I hope this is helpful. Peace be upon you, wassalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
