Wernigerode. A town straight out of a storybook

My entry to #monomad challenge

Today I'm going to show you a sample of some photos taken in a town that looks like it's straight out of an old book or a movie. In fact, in the first, you can see the town's castle in the distance, where several films have been shot.

The old, colorful, and well-maintained wooden houses and cobblestone streets caught my attention. Everywhere you go, you stumble upon historic buildings that give you the feeling of being in the Middle Ages. The following photos appreciate these details.

Possibly the town's greatest attraction is its castle, which stands at the highest point in the entire area. That's why I included it as the cover photo, and we'll dedicate some postcards to it in a future post.

Hoy voy a traer una muestra de algunas fotos hechas en un pueblo que parece sacado de las páginas de un libro antiguo o de una película. De hecho, en la primera se aprecia en la distancia el castillo de la localidad, donde han sido filmadas algunas películas.

Las antiguas, coloridas y bien cuidadas casas de madera y las calles adoquinadas me llamaron la atención. Dondequiera que vayas, te encuentras con edificios históricos que te dan la sensación de estar en la Edad Media. Las siguientes fotos aprecian estos detalles.

Posiblemente el mayor atractivo del pueblo es su castillo que muestra su elegancia en el punto más alto de toda la zona. Es por ello que lo puse como foto de portada y le dedicaremos algunas postales en un próximo post.
