Some churches in Venice

I've always loved observing the surroundings of the places I visit, whether it's the architecture, the people, the landscapes, etc. Because of this habit, I've realized that wherever I visit, the churches always have a great expressive power, whether for their beauty and majesty, their preservation, their history, or any detail one can't even imagine. The truth is that in the places I visit, churches are always on my agenda.

Venice couldn't be an exception, given the large number of churches throughout the region. The problem comes later: selecting which ones to show in the post. I decided to choose six photos that included some large and some small, some famous and some lesser-known, but all with a wealth of history within their walls.

All the selected photos show the churches seen from the outside, interacting with their surroundings, as I don't have photos of the interior spaces of all of them. In order of appearance, the photos appear:

Parish of Santa Maria Formosa, Venice.
Church of San Simeone Piccolo, Venice
Basilica of Saints John and Paul, Venice.
Oratory Ex Ospicio Briati, Murano.
Church of San Carlo Borromeo, Mestre.
Bell tower of the Church of San Martino, Burano.

Siempre me ha gustado observar el entrono de los lugares a donde voy, ya sea la arquitectura, las personas, los paisajes, etc. Debido a esta costumbre me he percatado que en cualquier parte que visites, las iglesias siempre tienen una gran fuerza expresiva, ya sea por su belleza y majestuosidad, por su conservación, por su historia o por cualquier detalle que uno ni se puede imaginar. Lo cierto es que en los lugares que visito, las iglesias siempre están en mi agenda.

Venecia no podía se una excepción por la gran cantidad de iglesias que hay en todo ese territorio, el problema viene después, hacer una selección de cuales mostrar en la publicación. Decidí escoger 6 fotos que abarcara algunas grandes y otras pequeñas, algunas famosas y otras menos conocidos, pero eso si, todas con mucha historia entre sus paredes.

Todas las fotos escogidas muestran las iglesias vistas desde su exterior, interactuando con el entorno pues no de todas tengo fotos de espacios interiores. En orden de aparición de las fotos aparecen:

Parroquia de Santa Maria Formosa, Venecia.
Iglesia de San Simeone Piccolo, Venecia
Basílica de Santi Juan y San Pablo, Venecia.
Oratorio Ex Ospicio Briati, Murano.
Iglesia de San Carlos Borromeo, Mestre.
Campanario de la iglesia de San Martin, Burano.
