Rainy day in my city
Entry to #monomad challenge
I think we've all been there, after planning an outdoor photography session down to the last detail, only to watch helplessly as the weather ruined everything.
Well, yes, friends, that's what happened to me. Everything was ready for that Sunday outing, but when I woke up, I heard the sound of falling water from my bed.
I had two options: stay editing the photos I'd been missing or go outside in those conditions. I grabbed my camera and an umbrella. I didn't have to walk far, because on my own block I found something unusual, considering the weather.
I was surprised by the presence of all kinds of people. I saw old people, young people, and even children. Everyone was protecting themselves from the rain with whatever they had on hand, from an umbrella to a towel. Others didn't even bother to cover themselves; I don't know if it was because they didn't have anything on hand or because they were carrying too much stuff.
After I took a few photos, I returned home, dried my umbrella, and began editing the photo.
Tell me if you think it was worth it to go out in those conditions. I think so. Please leave me your comment or suggestion. Thank you!
¡Gracias!

Weather in this month is unpredictable. But I don't think the weather bothered you because the photos turned out fantastic.
You're right. Rainy day photos have their own magic, with the soft light, the reflections in the wet streets, and the spontaneity of the people. Thanks for your comment.
Yes, rain do the magic. Your welcome 😁
