Pinar del Río is full of contrasts, like any other city, I suppose. You can find pleasant places, especially old buildings, or ugly, poorly maintained, and even ruined ones.

Today I'm bringing you photos of several of these places, including details and the people. Below are some notes to help you better identify with my city.

  1. Neon sign at the Hotel El Globo, one of the oldest in the city.
  2. Balconies of the Hotel Comercio, now in ruins.
  3. Artistic display of signs pointing to the past, present, and future.
  4. Horse-drawn carriage used as a means of transportation in the city.
  5. Colonial gateway adorned with plants. It is said that this place served as the residence of the city's governor during the colonial era.
  6. Colonial gateways where light and shadow stand out, enhancing the sense of depth.
  7. A scene from the city in its everyday life.

Did you like this post? I hope so. Please, leave me your comment or suggestion. Thanks!

¡Gracias!

Hello @r4f4 and thank you very much for your #monomad participation.
Please keep in mind that in order to be considered valid every entry needs to be posted in the black and white community. Unfortunately we won't be able to consider this one for that reason. 🙂

Ok, I appreciate the advice. What happened is that the new ecency editor is giving me errors when uploading files to the gallery and posting. This time I used Liketu and I don't know how to get that from there it was published in black and white.

Try to use PeakD instead.
It never gives me any issues.
Undoubtly the best front end in Hive.
