Old cars in Pinar del Río

As I've told you in other posts, in Pinar del Río, vintage cars are a very special part of the city.
Just walk the streets and you'll come across classic cars like the ones in the photos I'm sharing, which have been around for many years, some with worn paint and others fixed up with parts they've collected little by little.
Look closely at some of the details, like the patches, the dented plates, and even the homemade modifications. You'll understand that each car has its own story.
The owners put them to various uses, not only as a means of running errands or taking rides, but they also rent them out to earn a living. For many of them, they are a vivid reminder of times gone by.

Como ya te he contado en otras publicaciones, en Pinar del Río, los autos antiguos son una parte muy especial de la ciudad.
Solo tienes que salir a caminar por las calles, y vas a encontrarte con carros clásicos como los de las fotos que te comparto, que llevan muchos años rodando, algunos con la pintura gastada y otros arreglados con piezas que han ido consiguiendo poco a poco.
Fíjate bien en algunos detalles, como los parches, las chapas chocadas y hasta en las adaptaciones caseras. Vas a comprender que cada auto tiene su propia historia.
Los dueños le dan varios usos, no solo como un medio para hacer gestiones propias o pasear, sino que también los alquilan para ganarse la vida. Para muchos de ellos son un vivo recuerdo vivo de otros tiempos.
