Entry to #monomad Challenge

Hello Hiver!

This group of snapshots around the city is a sort of continuation of the previous post.

On certain important dates each year, sporting, cultural, and religious events are held on the city's main streets. This is the case with simultaneous chess matches where anyone can compete against the best local masters.
Popular marathons are also held, the most important of which is the Maracuba, held in every province of the country.
If you like old houses, you can find them very close to the city center. Some date back to the colonial era, like the one that served as the Governor's home or something similar.
Each park has its own unique features, and the one known as the Forest Park has beautifully shaped streetlights that distinguish it.
Some people go out for walks early, perhaps just to stroll, go shopping, or exercise.
Others have to start their jobs, as is the case with the electrical workers, always trying to resolve the frequent power outages.

Este grupo de instantáneas por la ciudad viene a ser una especie de continuación de la publicación anterior.

En algunas fechas señaladas de cada año se realizan eventos deportivos, culturales, religiosos, etc. en las principales calles de la ciudad. Tal es el caso de simultáneas de ajedrez donde cualquier persona puede enfrentarse a los mejores maestros locales.
También se celebran maratones populares, el más importante de ellos es el Maracuba, que se hace en todas las provincias del país.
Si te gustan las casas antiguas puedes encontrarlas muy cerca del centro de la ciudad. Algunas datan de la etapa colonial, como la que sirviera de hogar al Gobernador o algo así.
Cada parque tiene sus particularidades y el conocido como parque del bosque, cuenta con unas luminarias de bellas formas que lo distinguen.
Algunas personas salen a caminar desde bien temprano tal vez solo para pasear, ir de compras o hacer ejercicios.
Otros tienen que comenzar a hacer sus trabajos, como es el caso de los trabajadores eléctricos, siempre tratando de solucionar las frecuentes interrupciones del servicio.
