City of the Arts and Sciences of Valencia

In September 2024, I did a photo shoot at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, a place that’s all about art and futuristic architecture. This complex, designed by Santiago Calatrava, is made up of several super eye-catching buildings: the Hemisfèric, which looks like a giant eye and is an IMAX cinema and planetarium; the Science Museum, with a structure that reminds you of a giant skeleton; the Umbracle, a walkway with trees and plants that also works as a viewpoint; the Palau de les Arts, which is a super modern opera house; and other spaces like the Ágora.

The photos really capture those curved lines and angles that make everything look out of this world, with dramatic skies that add a lot of character to the images. Overall, the shoot shows off the mix of nature, water, and bright white architecture that makes this place unique and super photogenic.

En septiembre de 2024, hice una sesión de fotos en la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias en Valencia, un lugar que es puro arte y arquitectura futurista. Este complejo, diseñado por Santiago Calatrava, está compuesto por varios edificios súper llamativos: el Hemisfèric, que parece un ojo gigante y es un cine planetario; el Museo de las Ciencias, con su estructura que parece un esqueleto gigante; el Umbracle, un paseo con árboles y plantas que también funciona como mirador; el Palau de les Arts, que es un teatro de ópera con formas muy modernas; y otros espacios como el Ágora.

Las fotos capturan muy bien esas líneas curvas y ángulos que hacen que todo se vea como de otro mundo, con un cielo dramático que le da mucho carácter a las imágenes. En general, la sesión refleja la mezcla entre naturaleza, agua y arquitectura blanca que hace que este lugar sea único y súper fotogénico.
