A Cloudy afternoon with Jade in Pinar del Río

I rarely do photoshoots with models. My photographic preferences have always been closer to landscapes, street and city photography, architecture and urban details. However, when Jade asked me to photograph her, I simply couldn't refuse such a special model.

The afternoon in the surroundings of Pinar del Río was cloudy, and the soft light filtered by the clouds seemed tailor-made for the occasion. Jade arrived on time, with that clear and spontaneous smile that distinguishes her and that, even in black and white, conveys warmth and authenticity.

In the first picture, Jade is seen in profile, with an expression of serene joy. Her natural beauty and the sincerity of her smile break the sobriety of the grey sky, bringing light and life to the scene. It's easy to see that her charm goes far beyond the physical: there's a genuine energy in the way she stands in front of the camera.

We moved to the railroad tracks, where Jade, sitting barefoot on a chair, closed her eyes and immersed herself in a moment of introspection. Her posture and the delicacy of her gestures demonstrate her great talent as a model. Jade doesn't just pose, she interprets and feels every moment, managing to convey deep emotions with naturalness and elegance.

In another picture, sitting backwards on the chair and looking straight ahead, Jade shows a determined and confident attitude. Her versatility is evident: she can move from sweetness to strength, always maintaining an innate elegance. Each pose, each look reveals a different facet of her personality and her ability to adapt to different styles and emotions.

The session continued among the grass and wildflowers. The next two photos capture moments of abstraction and seriousness, where the model's extraordinary beauty can be appreciated.

In contrast, Jade, surrounded by branches and small buds, laughs openly, and her joy is contagious. Her laughter is authentic and an inner light is reflected in every gesture. In the last picture, Jade closes her eyes and lets herself be enveloped by the flowers, conveying a peace and a connection with nature that only a model with great sensitivity can achieve.

Although it's not my usual terrain, this shoot with Jade was an enriching experience. Her professionalism, creativity and ability to connect with the environment and the camera made each photograph feel unique. Jade is not only a model of great beauty and with a clear smile, but an artist who can transform a cloudy afternoon in Pinar del Río into a series of memorable images.

La verdad, casi nunca hago sesiones de fotos con modelos. Siempre me he inclinado más por los paisajes, la fotografía callejera, la arquitectura y los detalles urbanos. Pero cuando Jade me pidió que la fotografiara, no pude decirle que no: es una modelo muy especial.

La tarde por los alrededores de Pinar del Río estaba nublada, y esa luz suave que se colaba entre las nubes parecía hecha a la medida para la ocasión. Jade llegó puntual, con esa sonrisa clara y espontánea que la hace única, y que incluso en blanco y negro transmite calidez y autenticidad.

En la primera foto, Jade aparece de perfil, con una expresión de alegría tranquila. Su belleza natural y la sinceridad de su sonrisa rompen la seriedad del cielo gris, dándole luz y vida a la escena. Es fácil notar que su encanto va mucho más allá de lo físico: hay una energía genuina en la forma en que se planta frente a la cámara.

Nos fuimos a las vías del tren, donde Jade, sentada descalza en una silla, cerró los ojos y se sumergió en un momento de introspección. Su postura y la delicadeza de sus gestos dejan claro su talento como modelo. Jade no solo posa, interpreta y siente cada instante, logrando transmitir emociones profundas con naturalidad y elegancia.

En otra foto, sentada al revés en la silla y mirando de frente, Jade muestra una actitud decidida y segura. La sesión siguió entre la hierba y las flores silvestres. Las dos siguientes fotosmuestran momentos de abstracción y seriedad donde puede apreciarse la extraordinaria delleza de la modelo.

En contraste, Jade, rodeada de ramas y pequeños brotes, se ríe abiertamente, y su alegría se contagia. Su risa es auténtica y en cada gesto se nota una luz interior. En la última foto, Jade cierra los ojos y se deja envolver por las flores, transmitiendo una paz y una conexión con la naturaleza que solo una modelo con mucha sensibilidad puede lograr.

Aunque esto no es lo mío, la sesión con Jade fue una experiencia enriquecedora. Su profesionalismo, creatividad y capacidad para conectar con el entorno y la cámara hicieron que cada foto fuera especial. Jade no es solo una modelo muy bella y de sonrisa clara, es una artista capaz de transformar una tarde nublada en Pinar del Río en una serie de imágenes memorables.
