Sky is the Limit

They used to say, sky’s the limit. For what?

Sky even exists? I have no idea but every time I look up, those bluish thing hovering over there enchants my heart, and pours joy into my soul— for some unknown reasons.

And yes, I’ve been staring there more often, until last week when things turned worse— winter clouds all over; ruined the beaut. A dark layer of misfortune has replaced white, fluffy, cotton-like clouds almost entirely and it’s lost once again, the blue— my most loved colour on a sunny day.

Maybe I am just a melancholic. But my eyes aren’t. They aren’t as dumb as my skills with mobile lenses, yet I tried.

For many months, I’ve been trying to capture subtle things, mostly I never cared about. I never cared about photography at all, to be honest. But it’s a pleasure freezing those moments I see every day, that’s how it all began.

I’ve been roaming around the neighbourhood a lot these days, be it a hot sunny day or a chilly morning with 35kmph wind and a little bit of rain— early at dawn when no one’s around or at late hours at night, suddenly my eyes want to devour the beauty the sky behold. From the far North Wales to Liverpool, I’ve been listening to the foamy waters running from the Atlantic to the tranquil River Mersey.

Life’s like that, isn’t it? Dwelling between dualism, confused about which side to take— and creating memories; good and bad. Let the moments live forever, here.
