Loving Flowers, Loving a Little Walk

Long ago, before I had detached myself from my dearest and found myself immersed in utmost business doing nothing (mostly), I used to spend quality time walking around the greenery heaven I lived in. That seems to be a long time ago but it’s actually a few days back connotatively speaking.

Let’s go for a walk— I asked my beloved and I knew she wouldn’t refuse because it’s once in a moon she would hear it from me. Ironically. I was in the mood, to be honest. So, we walked for hours, maybe. Spending time with the beloved is always too sweet to count hours. Good old days!

Anyway, we jumped into this local garden centre out of curiosity— to check out what’s available. Thank God we decided to go in and it was a feast to the eyes. Flowers of numerous kinds, most of which I have in mind to have on my balcony were at their best appearance. But expensive. Very expensive considering my wallet’s worth. But exploring them costs nothing, and a few snaps won’t hurt, right?

So, I was busy taking photos while my darling became busy negotiating the price of some of her favourites, making me nervous about the total bill I may be presented with. But sometimes you have to act cool, cause you are cool.

Eventually, she ended up buying a few roses and another one which I don’t remember at this point. But they looked nice. I had to pick one too. And what could be a better fit on my desk than a mighty cactus? Bought 3 of them, hell yeah— majesty at its best with all the spikes sending a clear warning not to intrude. I love cacti and succulents. Born gorgeous even without flowers.
