Hola amigos de HIVE, es grato saludarlos, el día de hoy quiero compartirles la experiencia de mi familia, la mía y las imágenes de el centro de Bogotá Colombia.
Hello friends of HIVE, it is a pleasure to greet you, today I want to share with you the experience of my family and myself and the images of downtown Bogota Colombia.
It is a place full of so many stories and so many myths that are another post after I investigate well its history, the beautiful and extensive "Plaza Bolivar" previously called by the Spaniards who colonized America the Plaza Mayor, then called the Plaza de la Constitución, and a few years later its final name and still endures the Plaza Bolivar, It was a place previously used for bullfights, later it was transformed into a market square and public events such as concerts and plays were held there. This place where our independence heroes walked is full of magnificent stories.
In the center of the square we have the imposing sculpture of our great liberator Simón José Antonio de la santísima Trinidad Bolívar and put palaces and white,
It is an extraordinary place, with the architectures that are in its surroundings makes us feel that we are in the time of independence. The cathedral basilica in downtown Bogota with a somewhat gothic exterior architecture and the colorful white interior architecture made us feel as if we were entering a medieval castle ready to dance some Mozart waltz, a basilica with walls full of hundreds of stories.
In front of the church on the other side of the Plaza Bolivar we have a building of an extensive architecture almost as long as the Plaza de Bolivar, the security guards who guard it told me that it was a royal palace of the Spanish colonizers and that in the lower part they had a prison which was the first prison in all of Bogota.
On another side is the capitol and Parliament of the Republic of Colombia, is a structure with huge columns, a beautiful and imposing building, there are other important architecture, and others not so important but a rich and important history for Colombia, terrorist attacks and cries for independence, just do a brief investigation with photos of the interior of these I will make new post. Thank you very much.
