(Edited)
Hello friends of hive I hope you are well in this new day, today I came to present photos and an essay of my experience in the museum of Santa Clara built in the year 1647 is located on Candelaria Avenue just in front of the house of Nariño in Bogota Colombia.
This beautiful temple was converted into a museum in 2011 this museum is a property of the ministry of culture and for the large collection of paintings, and the collection of images, makes this place unique, for its history and years of antiquity, is a good place to visit on weekends.
It is a place full of mysteries of history and curiosity, its external walls are like piles of stones joined with mud, passing by one side goes unnoticed that these walls are more than 300 years old.
Several exhibitions of contemporary colonial and baroque art have been organized in this museum to keep the art of painting alive in the Colombian culture.
This museum and ancient temple was built in a baroque style, its influence to build it was colonial and has 2610 meters high and it took approximately 28 years to finish raising its huge walls and was founded by Hermando Arias de Ugarte was a neo-Granadian priest. He was bishop of Quito, archbishop of Santa Fe de Bogotá, archbishop of La Plata and archbishop of Lima. He was the only Colombian archbishop to hold the episcopal office in Lima. Great and interesting stories that hide these great walls and very few people are passionate about the history of their country, to think that in every corner are written hundreds of stories, I hope that someday you can visit it and immerse yourself in the experience of the baroque representation of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in this small part of the world.
