Diary of a guitarist, a part of my life in a few words. [ENG/ESP]

Sexo drogas y rock and rollo, una vida muy desorientada, sin rumbo, conciertos de rock mujeres alcohol y drogas invadieron varios años de mi vida.

Sex, drugs and rock and roll, a very disoriented life, without direction, rock concerts, women, alcohol and drugs invaded several years of my life.

Después de estudiar en conservatorios y academias musicales y haber pasado por varias agrupaciones de thrash metal y heavy metal de mi país Venezuela, logré fundar una de las que para mí fue y es una de las mejores bandas en la que he estado y que pude fundar junto con uno de mis mejores amigos Marwis Briseño el cuál me vio crecer desde pequeño y también me vio crecer musical mente ya que inicie con dos barridos en guitarra que me dejó el escrito en un papel, compré mi primera guitarra con el dinero para comprarme un par de zapatos, tuve que ir al colegio con los zapatos rotos varios meses pero tenía mi guitarra y aprendí ha tocarla.

After studying in conservatories and music academies and having gone through several thrash metal and heavy metal bands in my country Venezuela, I managed to found one of the bands that for me was and is one of the best bands I've been in and that I founded together with one of my best friends Marwis Briseño who saw me grow since I was a child and also saw me grow musically mind since I started with two sweeps on guitar that he left me written on a piece of paper, I bought my first guitar with the money to buy a pair of shoes, I had to go to school with broken shoes for several months but I had my guitar and I learned to play it.

Solo me basto 3 meses para tener mucha velocidad en mis dedos, me quite las uñas de los dedos porque sentía que me pesaban y así ganaba más velocidad, aprendí ha componer ha desglosar una canción, sus tiempos, los ritmos latinos y silencios musicales me gustaban.

It only took me 3 months to have a lot of speed in my fingers, I removed the nails from my fingers because I felt that they weighed me down and so I gained more speed, I learned to compose and break down a song, its tempos, the Latin rhythms and musical silences I liked.

Marwis y yo iniciamos la que sería la mejor banda de thrash metal “stalingrado” luego llegaron los demás integrantes para hacer la agrupación aún más poderosa, está banda solo se podría deducir en una sola palabra “guerra”

Marwis and I started what would be the best thrash metal band "stalingrad" then the other members arrived to make the group even more powerful, this band could only be deduced in a single word "war".

Con el pasar de los ensayos llegaron las ideologías y hay le dimos el sello ha nuestra banda, con las semanas de ensayo empezaron ha llegar los eventos, conciertos alrededor de casi todo el país, recuerdo una vez pensé que habíamos terminado de tocar y rompí las cuerdas de mi guitarra, me tocó terminar con las dos cuerdas que me quedaban.

With the passing of the rehearsals came the ideologies and there we gave the seal to our band, with the weeks of rehearsal began to arrive the events, concerts around almost the whole country, I remember once I thought we had finished playing and I broke the strings of my guitar, I had to finish with the two strings that I had left.

En otro de tantos conciertos no recuerdo absolutamente nada de lo que toque, pero al día siguiente me dijeron que toque brutal, tuve problemas de alcohol, ya estaba adicto dure un tiempo así, luego empecé ha reducir el trago, me enferme y desde hay empecé ha tomar menos alcohol, ya era yo el que lo controlaba.

In another concert I don't remember absolutely nothing of what I played, but the next day I was told that I played brutally, I had alcohol problems, I was addicted for a while, then I started to reduce my drinking, I got sick and from then on I started to drink less alcohol, I was the one who controlled it.

Otras agrupaciones musicales nos empezaron ha tener rencor porque no los llamaban ha los conciertos, y nos llamaban en sus lugares, de hay en adelante después de cada concierto nos agarramos ha golpes con los integrantes de otras agrupaciones, en una de tantas peleas me fracture un brazo, en otra me dislocaron la mandíbula recuerdo que estaba tan borracho que yo mismo me lleve la mandíbula ha su lugar, hasta el día de hoy no puedo abrir totalmente la boca porque me duele y hace un sonido muy fuerte, éramos puro thrash metal en vida.

Other bands started to resent us because they didn't call them to the concerts, and they called us in their places, from then on after every concert we got into fights with the members of other bands, in one of those fights I broke my arm, in another one they dislocated my jaw, I remember I was so drunk that I took my own jaw to its place, to this day I can't open my mouth completely because it hurts and it makes a very strong sound, we were pure thrash metal in life.

Logramos grabar dos disco, el primero lo llamamos shturmobik lo grabamos en el año 2013 un disco con seis canciones propias letras y composición musical echas por nosotros Stalingrado y una versión de la banda Slayer.

We managed to record two albums, the first one we call it shturmobik we recorded in 2013 an album with six songs with our own lyrics and musical composition made by us Stalingrad and a version of the band Slayer.

Varias veces nos invitaron ha giras por Colombia Perú y Brasil pero nunca llegamos ha un acuerdo económico, son tantos anécdotas por contar, tantas historias dentro y fuera de las tarimas que siento que me estoy quedando corto en este post, son tantas experiencias que me estoy quedando corto.

Several times we were invited to tour Colombia, Peru and Brazil but we never reached an economic agreement, there are so many anecdotes to tell, so many stories on and off the stage that I feel I am falling short in this post, there are so many experiences that I am falling short.

Para poder participar en un evento tenía que tener más de 3 años la banda de fundada para poder ser seleccionada, era la audición para el evento de rock en Valencia Venezuela, el montes de oca, nos inventamos una reseña, una historia inventada que no quieren arreglar, decir quienes la fundaron y como empezó todo, una disquera peruana conjunto ha una panameña agarraron los dos discos y los transformaron en uno solo original y con sello discográfico, no sé cuál fue el trato que hicieron pero pensé que me iban ha dar por lo menos un disco jeje igual me queda un último disco por sacar, un único disco como solista y será mi última bala.

In order to participate in an event the band had to have been founded for more than 3 years to be selected, it was the audition for the rock event in Valencia Venezuela, the montes de oca, we invented a review, an invented story that they do not want to fix, say who founded the band and how it all started, a Peruvian record label together with a Panamanian label took the two albums and transformed them into one original album with a record label, I don't know what the deal was but I thought they were going to give me at least one album hehe I still have one last album to release, a single album as a soloist and it will be my last bullet.

Al pasar un año de llegar ha Colombia me sentía vacío, con esas ganas enormes de tocar algún instrumento y decidí reunirme en una iglesia cristiana para poder tocar algún instrumento pero cuando me escucharon tocar la guitarra me dijeron que era el demonio que tocaba por mi y no me dejaron entrar más ha la iglesia.

A year after arriving in Colombia I felt empty, with this enormous desire to play an instrument and I decided to meet in a Christian church to play an instrument but when they heard me play the guitar they told me that it was the devil playing for me and they did not let me enter the church anymore.

Actualmente no tengo agrupación musical, pero aún sigo componiendo y con muchas ganas de grabar, se me hace difícil por la economía pero las ganas hay de más. Ya logré comprarme una guitarra en este país y para el próximo mes iré por el amplificador, apenas tenga la posibilidad de comprar la computadora no dudaré en grabar un disco y publicarlo por aquí, y si alguien está interesado en unirse ha este nuevo proyecto que quiero empezar bienvenido será, estoy ubicado en Bogotá muchísimas gracias, y pues apenas puedas estaré publicando videos de sesiones de clases, muchas gracias….

At the moment I don't have a musical group, but I'm still composing and I'm eager to record, it's difficult for me because of the economy but there's more than enough desire. I already managed to buy a guitar in this country and next month I will go for the amplifier, as soon as I have the possibility to buy the computer I will not hesitate to record an album and publish it here, and if anyone is interested in joining this new project that I want to start welcome, I am located in Bogota thank you very much, and as soon as you can I will be posting videos of class sessions, thank you very much....
