En esta serie de fotos hice todo lo atípico a mi forma de hacer fotos, y editarlas, bueno no todo todo pero si una buena parte. En primer lugar, use flash, no se que tengo contra el que apenas lo uso, le dio un toque muy diferente a mis fotos, además hice fotos de las texturas de un tronco, cuando normalmente solo me llaman la atención las hojas y flores. Pero aún más a la hora de editar no use mucho contraste, use viñeta y subí la calidez del blanco y negro. Salí de mi zona de confort porque me es necesario explorar, para aprender y para descubrir mi estilo y mejorarlo. No son ni mis mejores fotos, ni la mejor edición que he hecho pero me gustan bastante espero y les suceda lo mismo.

In this photo series I did everything atypical compared to my usual way of shooting and editing—well, not everything, but a good chunk. First, I used flash (I’m not sure why I’ve been so against it, since I barely ever use it), and it gave my shots a very different look. I also photographed the textures of a tree trunk, when normally only leaves and flowers catch my eye. And even more, during editing I didn’t lean on contrast; I added a vignette and warmed up the black-and-white tones. I stepped out of my comfort zone because I need to explore, to learn, and to discover my style and make it better. These aren’t my best photos, nor my finest edits, but I really like them—and I hope you do, too.
