I go out, and there is always more and more. After so long without touching the camera, when you return to it there’s a euphoria—wanting to see everything, to photograph everything. The only question in my head is: What composition will make this look better? Hundreds of photos, different angles, the process of viewing them, discarding, choosing, editing—preparations before the work that brings satisfaction. A satisfaction I had forgotten, because work and light are never enough, but the happiness of holding a camera is unmatched for me. So we resist creatively, with it in hand.
