Somehow I managed to accidently downvote this comment and, despite much swearing and cursing, I'm not sure if I managed to reverse it. I will upvote every other comment in an effort to compensate. Sorry.

  1. Get help from others: (1) The HelpHive team has been signaled. Wait for a reply from a team member. The team is made of volunteers who will try to answer questions or direct you toward an answer. Hello @quillfire, it is not uncommon to experience this type of mistake when curating on the blockchain. Thanks for letting the other party know that you downvoted her content by mistake. That's usually the first step to take in such situations.

About reversing the downvote, you can easily nullify the downvote by giving an upvote with a voting percentage that is equal or higher than the percentage of downvote given. If the downvote was a 70% downvote, an upvote of 70% and above will cancel it out.

If it was a 100% downvote, nullify it with 100% upvote. Then, you can go ahead to upvote any other post or comment of the author. That's how the author would be able to get the author's reward while you get the Curation reward from the upvote.

It wasn't (obviously) about the money, it was the priciple ... I didn't want you thinking I was downvoting you. How I managed said downvote is still beyond me.
