El día comienza con la danza inesperada de un Insecto depredador, estaba sobre unas hojas secas de un árbol de níspero, bailaba de un lado al otro con las patas sobre las hojas, totalmente hipnotizante.
A los pocos minutos, salto de un matorral con impresionante abundancia de hojas secas qué cubría el suelo por donde Juan caminaba.
La impresionante bestia tenia a su favor el color del follaje y de las hojas que caían de los árboles y arbustos. Un color tipo uniforme militar, marrón con degradados en matices beige, qué hacía qué el bicho en plena cacería se confundiera con todo a su alrededor, se mimetizaba al extremo.
Su inmóvil cuerpo después de una previa danza de lado a lado, yacía inerte y activo, con la paciencia al máximo esperando a su presa.

Eran como la hoz qué al accionar a la velocidad de milisegundos atrapa a sus presas para luego comérselas vivas.
Juan no dejaba de tomar nota de la experiencia, qué al igual que el depredador estaba impávido e inmóvil viendo todo lo que sucedía.
El tamaño del insecto lo tenia embelesado, era en su mundo de niño, el insecto más grande que había visto. Juan saca cuentas del tamaño colosal, y lo comparaba con el tiranosaurio Rex...
Vaya comparación la qué le dio Juan!
Juan había salido de su casa desde muy temprano, ya que su maita madrugaba para ordeñar las vacas y sacarlas a pastorear, y después de desayunar irse al local café que ella atendía... Juan se quedaba con la abuela a su cuidado, por lo que él en plenas vacaciones salía desde tempranito a jugar en todo el alrededor de la casa.

Ya pasado el tiempo, la noche se venía como un relámpago, con su una llena. Así que debió irse a su casa.
El Insecto el cual había descrito al buscar en sus libros, dio con su nombre, pegando un salto de alegría y gritando le dijo a su abuleita qué ya sabía cómo se llamaba el Insecto qué estuvo viendo gran parte del día... La Mantis religiosa.
