Every Horse is a Masterpiece - Saddle up!

Recently I develop a liking for horses. I do not own any, but seeing them.
over movies and sometime on the roadside makes me fall in awe with the animal. Many people believe that women are naturally connected to horses because of various reasons. I read a newspaper article which mention that women develops loving feelings for horses because the connection helps them gain strength, grace, beauty, and swiftness. May be I am in starting phase of my liking, as I drew one "horse" trully inspired from Chetak.

Horses are large, strong, and fast mammals that have been domesticated by humans since many years. They have been the driving force behind many royal families and also seen many war over the ages. The great indian ruller Maharana Pratap fought riding on Chetak - the name of his horse. Due to the power and speed of Chetak, Maharana Pratap chose him as his favorite horse. So I went to draw one on a small piece of paper. I drew a brown horse with long hairs, with a green background. Here is how I proceeded with the drawing work.

I started with sketching the horse face on the piece of paper. It was a random, piece of paper found in my scrap. I made sure to draw the straps around the nose. Which help them to control the horses. After that I started coloring the horse. I took multiple pictures, as I was liking with the drawing outcome.

Once the horse figure comes out nicely, I started pitting colors on the back ground. It again got better with Green background. Here are some more pictures of my drawing process.

Hope you like the final outcome. It was a pure random painting in my idle hours.
