🌄 Vista Secreta en las Alturas del Cerro San Cristóbal
¡Hola, comunidad!
🌄 Secret Viewpoint at the Top of San Cristóbal Hill
Hello, community!
In this post, I want to share with you a series of photos from a very special hike I recently took up Cerro San Cristóbal in Santiago, Chile.
This time I went with two good friends: Oliver, who first introduced me to this hidden spot years ago, and Jorman, who discovered it later through me.
The place is a hidden rock on the edge of the mountain that offers one of the most stunning panoramic views of Santiago.
🧗♂️ Climbing with friends
We started our hike in the afternoon, slowly making our way up. When we arrived at our secret place, the atmosphere was truly magical:
the sun was beginning to set, the wind was soft, and everything was silent. Even a cat joined us, relaxing there and enjoying the peaceful afternoon.
🌇 A sunset to remember
At that height, the usual city sounds fade away. The silence, the view, and the company made the moment unforgettable.
We watched the sky turn golden and the city begin to glow as the sun disappeared behind the mountains.
🌙 Heading down at dusk
Although we intended to descend before nightfall, the magic of the moment held us longer than planned. Darkness caught up with us only near the end of our descent, close to the entrance of the hill.
On our way down, we continued chatting, taking more photos, and recording some videos.
Unfortunately, I still don’t know how to share videos here on Hive Blog—if anyone has tips on how to do it, I’d really appreciate the help!
All the photos in this post were taken with my Samsung S22, which beautifully captured the light and mood of this experience.
