Let's be jelly - LMAC 155 [EN | DE]
Current round 155 of LMAC is just coming to an end. It was another great round, no doubt. Once again, a lot of really great collages took part, which are truly worth admiring.
Take a look into LMAC, we are happy about every new collage artist. No matter whether you are a master, a novice or a first-timer.
(I am participating out of competition. Just for fun.).
Die aktuelle LMAC Runde 155 kommt gerade zum Ende. Eine weitere tolle Runde, keine Frage. Es haben wieder richtig viele, richtig tolle Collagen teilgenommen, die es sich lohnt zu bewundern.
Schau doch mal bei LMAC rein, wir freuen uns über jeden neuen Collagisten. Ganz egal, ob Meister, Novize oder Ersttäter.
(Ich nehme nur an dieser Runde, jedoch nicht am Contest selbst teil. Nur zum Spaß.)
About my collage
When I was seeking inspiration for my collage for round 155, I unfortunately found it among bad news this time. I am extremely upset by the many military conflicts and trouble spots in the world that you can read about every day. And I have often asked myself how we, the humanity as a whole, would ever be able to get rid of our cycles of conflict.
Since I am not really a social strategist, but rather I have a very strong imagination, this question of course led to pure, irrational daydreaming.
So I imagined that all the peace-loving people in the world would gather all their pudding powder and, all together in a huge ritual, we would create a giant jelly monster on which all the bullets would bounce off and that it would simply stop all the tanks, all the armies, all the bombers, all the rockets and all the jet fighters.
When I woke up from this beautiful daydream, I was of course still not nearer to the solution for the problem, but just met the topic for my collage in it.
Über meine Collage
Auf der Suche nach Inspiration für meine Collage für Runde 155, bin ich dieses Mal leider unter schlechten Nachrichten fündig geworden. Die vielen militärischen Konflikte und Konfliktherde auf der Welt, über die man zur Zeit täglich lesen kann, regen mich extrem auf. Und ich fragte mich schon des öfteren, wie wir aus diesen Konfliktkreisläufen, als ganze Menschheit je wieder rauskommen könnten.
Da ich nicht wirklich ein sozialer Stratege bin, jedoch eher eine extreme Fantasie habe, mündete diese Frage natürlich in purer, irrationaler Träumerei.
So stellte ich mir vor, dass alle friedliebenden Leute auf der Welt ihr ganzes Puddingpulver zusammentragen und daraus in einem gemeinsamen Ritual ein riesiges Gelee-Monster erschaffen, an dem alle Kugeln abprallen und dass alle Panzer, alle Armeen, alle Bomber, Raketen und alle Düsenjäger einfach aufhält.
Als ich aus diesem schönen Tagtraum erwachte, war ich der Lösung des Problems natürlich nicht näher, aber dem Thema für meine Collage, war ich darin gerade erst begegnet.

What is LMAC?
LMAC is a great community for artists of all skill levels. The name of the community is an abbreviation and stands for "Let's make a collage".
Just take a look. Even if you think you are not an artist, LMAC will probably prove you wrong.

Are you a good photographer and would like to contribute some nice good quality photos in exchange for good votes and tribute?
We are currently building our own photo/image library that we can use as a image source for our collages, but also every Hiver beyond LMAC is very welcome to use the images in it.

Wir bauen zur Zeit unsere eigene Foto/Bilder-Bibliothek auf, die wir für unsere Collagen als Bilder-Quelle nutzen können und aus welcher sich auch jeder Hiver ausserhalb von LMAC, sehr gerne bedienen darf.

My heirs are already adults. But when they were younger, they surely helped my inner child to survive the times. The uncorrupted thoughts of children can indeed be very edifying, can't they?
