In diesem Post präsentiere ich mein neuestes NFT und einen Tribut an einen sehr witzigen Kerl.
About my picture
This is Knuffel. Knuffel loves Ganja.
He is actually based on a real person I once met in my life. He looked very similar, really was known by the nickname Knuffel (german for looking cuddly) and loved everything Ganja. A lovely and very peaceful guy.
When we crossed paths, I was hiking in the Alps and was taking a break.
He asked if he could join in, which I of course invited him to do. He sat down, rummaged around in his jacket pocket and suddenly pulled out a smokable stick filled with herbs.
"You don't mind, do you?" he asked, smiling as he lit the stick.
After taking a deep drag, he paused for a few seconds and then blew the smoke into the trees.
"It's a hell of a climb up here, isn't it? Phew..." suddenly came out of his mouth with another puff of smoke. "I'm, um, I'm called Knuddel, by the way. I often come up here. First time here?". I couldn't help but grin a little about this nickname.
I introduced myself and really funny and super interesting conversations followed. We continued the rest of the hike together. During which he also told me about his preference for his favorite herb. Among other things, he said that he somehow has a spiritual connection to it.
The time flew by so quickly. Later down in the village, we parted ways as he had to walk to the next village.
We both were very sorry.
I have thought about him a often in the last few days as the legalization of Ganja became a very popular topic in the western hemisphere. It's in the news every day, since political developments now also has been made in Germany.
Somehow thinking about him and this topic inspired me to make a little piece of art about him. Let it be kind of a tribute!
This picture was created entirely with the help of the open source tools Blender 3D and GIMP.

Über mein Bild
Dies ist Knuffel. Knuffel liebt Ganja.
Er basiert tatsächlich auf einer realen Person, die ich einmal in meinem Leben getroffen habe. Er sah sehr ähnlich aus, war wirklich unter dem Spitznamen Knuffel bekannt und liebte alles rund um Ganja. Ein liebenswerter und sehr friedlicher Mensch.
Wir trafen uns damals, als ich in den Alpen wandern war und gerade Rast machte.
Er fragte, ob er sich dazu setzen darf, wozu ich ihn selbstverständlich einlud. Er setzte sich, kramte in seiner Jackentasche herum und holte plötzlich ein rauchbares Stäbchen mit Kräuterfüllung heraus.
"Stört dich doch nicht, oder?", fragte er und lächelte, da zündete er sich das Stäbchen auch schon an.
Nach einem tiefen Zug, hielt er ein paar Sekunden inne und blies den Rauch zwischen die Bäume.
"Ein Mords-Aufstieg ist das nach hier oben, nicht wahr? Pfuuh...", kam plötzlich mit einer weiteren Schwade des Rauches aus seinem Munde. "Ich bin übrigens, ähm, ich werde Knuddel genannt. Ich komm hier oft hoch. Das erste Mal hier?". Über diesen Kosenamen musste ich schon ein wenig grinsen.
Ich stellte mich vor und es folgten wirklich lustige und super interessante Gespräche und traten den Rest der Wanderung gemeinsam an. Dabei erzählte er mir auch über seine Vorliebe für das erlesene Kraut. Unter anderem das er dazu irgendwie eine spirituelle Verbindung hätte.
Die Zeit verflog so schnell. Später unten im Dorf trennten sich unsere Wege, da er noch ein Dorf weiter laufen musste.
Fanden wir beide sehr schade.
Ich habe in den letzten Tagen öfter über ihn nachgedacht, da die Legalisierung von Ganja in der westlichen Hemisphäre gerade ein sehr populäres Thema wurde. Es ist ja derzeit jeden Tag in den Nachrichten, seit es dazu sogar in Deutschland politische Entwicklungen gibt.
Irgendwie hat mich das Nachdenken über ihn und dieses Thema dazu inspiriert, ein kleines Kunstwerk über ihn zu machen. Lassen wir es eine Art Hommage sein!
Dieses Bild wurde vollständig mithilfe der Open-Source-Werkzeuge Blender 3D und GIMP erstellt.

From the look in his eyes, he may have smoked just a little too much ganja😄
Very clever. Great smoke effect. You do give this character personality. I don't think it's the ganja. Just seems like a nice guy.

There wasn't half an hour during the entire hike when the original Knuffle didn't have his smoke stick between his lips.
In this regard, the depiction is pure realism. :-D
