Fragile - Freestyle Collage [EN | DE]

You won't believe what happened to me... I had a new collage on my hard disk for about 2 months and I forgot to publish it in LMAC. Outrageous, but it won't happen again!
Here is my new, old freestyle collage.

Du wirst nicht glauben, was mir passiert ist... Seit gut 2 Monaten, hatte ich eine neue Collage auf meiner Festplatte liegen und glatt vergessen, sie in LMAC zu veröffentlichen. Ungeheuerlich, aber das passiert mir nicht wieder!
Anbei, meine neue, alte Freestyle-Collage.
About my collage
When spring came, I was one of the first in the neighborhood who worshipped the sun in his garden.
On a beautiful Sunday, while I was sitting in my garden enjoying the sun, two neighboring boys appeared on the ground nearby and started to play.
One of them was constantly blowing soap bubbles. Big ones, small ones, wobbly ones, long and short living ones.
They looked beautiful in the sunshine - how they glittered and sparkled in all kinds of colors.
Meanwhile, the other boy was playing with warlike-looking figures and soon began to attack and destroy the bubbles with his figures as soon as they detached from the ring, making loud battle cries.
When the little bubble master complained and scolded him: "Hey, stop that. They're beautiful.â, the little warrior prince replied: âHarharhar, noooo. They're combat drones and must be destroyed immediately," and continued his mission of destruction.
The little bubble master then took his bubble maker and left to continue his fun a short time later from the neighboring balcony.
Completely unimpressed, the little warrior prince then turned to his grandma's flower pots to let his plastic henchmen fight the evil war flowers (or something like that).
Somehow I realized, once again, that the fight of the destructive forces against everything that is good, valuable and beautiful seems to be a law of nature and it is to be hoped that their numbers are always in a good balance with the constructive ones.
In my picture, the earth stands for the valuable, the important and the beautiful aspects. The hand with the needle stands for destructivism.
Ăber meine Collage
Als der FrĂŒhling kam, war ich einer der ersten in der Nachbarschaft, der in seinem Garten die Sonne anbetete.
WĂ€hrend ich eines schönen Sonntages in meinem Garten saĂ, um die Sonne zu genieĂen, tauchten zwei Nachbarsbuben auf dem GrundstĂŒck gegenĂŒber auf und spielten dort angeregt.
Einer der beiden machte unentwegt Seifenblasen. GroĂe, kleine, wabernde, Lang- und Kurzlebige.
Schön, sahen sie im Sonnenschein aus - wie sie da glitzerten und funkelten, in allen möglichen Farben.
Der andere Bub spielte unterdessen mit kriegerisch anmutenden Spielfiguren und begann alsbald, mit seinen Figuren, unter lauten Schlachtrufen, die Seifenblasen zu attackieren und zu zerstören, sobald sich jeweils vom Ring lösten.
Als sich dann der kleine Seifenblasen-Meister darĂŒber beschwerte und schimpfte: "Hey, lass das. Die sind doch schön.", erwiderte der kleine KriegerfĂŒrst: "Harharhar, neeeiiiin. Das sind Kampfdrohnen und sie mĂŒssen sofort zerstört werden", und fuhr mit seinem Vernichtungsfeldzug fort.
Daraufhin nahm der kleine Seifenblasen-Meister seinen Seifenblasen-Macher und zog von dannen, um sein Spiel, kurze Zeit spÀter, vom Nachbar-Balkon aus, in Ruhe, fortzusetzen.
Völlig unbeeindruckt, wannte sich der kleine KriegerfĂŒrst dann, den Blumentöpfen seiner Oma zu, um dort seine Plastik-Scherge gegen die bösen Kampfblumen (oder sowas) ziehen zu lassen.
Irgendwie wurde mir dabei, einmal wieder, klar, dass der Kampf der Destruktiven gegen alles was gut, wertvoll und schön ist, ein Naturgesetz zu sein scheint und es zu hoffen bleibt, dass deren Anzahl immer in einer gute Balance zu den Konstruktiven steht.
In meinem Bild steht die Erde fĂŒr das Wertvolle, das Wichtige und das Schöne. Die Hand mit der Nadel, steht fĂŒr den Destruktivismus.

These are the materials I have made use of to create my collage. Additionally to Photo Bashing, I also painted some details myself (shadows, lights, recoloring...).
For the work on the collage I only used the open source image editor GIMP.

Materialien
Dies sind die Materialien die ich zum Erstellen meiner Collage verwendet habe. ZusÀtzlich zum Photobashing, habe ich auch Details selbst gemalt (Schatten, Lichter, Nachkolorierung ...).
Ich habe fĂŒr die komplette Arbeit an der Collage, das open source Bildbearbeitungsprogramm GIMP verwendet.

What is LMAC?
LMAC is a great community for artists of all skill levels. The name of the community is an abbreviation and stands for "Let's make a collage".
Just take a look. Even if you think you are not an artist, LMAC will probably prove you wrong.
