Este bebé de apenas 4 meses, se llama Ruso y es el hijo de mi prima, la beba, que lo adoptó recién nacido, cuando fue abandonado por alguna persona desalmada. Estaba en una bolsa de doritos, frente a nuestra casa. Ella escuchó su llanto una madrugada; abrió la puerta y allí estaba él, llorando, con frío y hambriento. Lo sacó de la bolsa de doritos y lo cargó, llevándolo adentro, donde le dio un poco de leche tibia. Creo que fue amor a primera vista.

Yo sigo muchas cuentas de apoyo a los animales en Instagram, donde los proteccionistas siempre están compartiendo imágenes de perritos, gatitos abandonados, buscando hogar porque sus dueños los abandonaron, se van de país o simplemente los dan en adopción porque son "tremendos, juguetones". La otra excusa es que no tienen dinero para costear sus alimentos.

Yo me pregunto ¿harían lo mismo con un hijo? No lo creo, ¿verdad?

Adoptar es ser responsables, es un compromiso de por vida, que no se debe descartar porque el animalito rompió tus zapatos, orinó en el suelo, en vez de su cajita.

Many people think of pets as toys when they are small and have no patience for them. Owning a pet is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly.

It makes me angry to see so many animals abandoned in the street, as if these animals had no feelings.

Afortunadamente, somos muchos los que amamos a nuestras mascotas, porque son parte de nuestra familia, han venido a darle pinceladas de alegres colores a nuestras vidas. Yo me siento bendecida desde que Baloo llegó a mi vida, hace año y medio.

En las mismas condiciones, era muy pequeñito, fue abandonado y yo lo adopté. Posteriormente fue esterilizado, vacunado y ahora es miembro honorario de mi hogar. Te lo presento.
