Easter Sunday Celebration and Reflection

Hello hivers, your girl @purpleidy23 is here again today and I'm going to be telling y'all about my Easter Sunday service in a jiffy so stay glued and enjoy your read. I'm not actually an all Sunday church goer, i can stay without going to church for some months but can't go a day without fellowshipping with my God. I had no plans of going to church yesterday but then I remembered that it's my fourth year anniversary of rededicating my life to Christ.

Something happened that tried my faith and I won't lie, I fell for it. It was so hurtful that I never thought I'd ever have anything to do with God again because I felt betrayed by him but thanks to some friends who never left my side but kept encouraging me till I healed and realized that God's bigger than what I faced and whatever happened to me was for a reason of which today, I give thanks to God that it happened that way.

There's no way I'm gonna stay back from church today, I said to myself so I got out of bed, had my bath, got dressed and went to church. Though I got to church late, it was still better than staying back and to make it to the Thanksgiving service, I had to stay for the third service do I'd be able to thank God for being ever faithful through out this four years and got it wrapped with hot praise session.

I realized I had not eaten anything since morning when I got home and I never felt like it and it was usual because by that time, I would've probably been talking about lunch but it was so, not even breakfast. I had little soup at home so I stepped out and bought garri so I could make it and eat with my fresh bitter leaf soup I had prepared the previous day. I had my lunch and few minutes of rest before going out to visit my friend who was on my neck to visit her saying her kids were missing me.

I wasn't half way into the journey when it started raining heavily and I was shocked because there was no sign it was gonna rain. My plans had been aborted and I don't know when next I'll be chanced to go visit my friend before she thinks I have ditched her for someone else. My girl can be very jealous and I like it that way because it shows she's concerned about our friendship. I went back home but was soaked by the rain and when I got home, I fetched water since recently rainfall has been my source of water supply and also washed the plates I used in eating before taking my bath.

I went to have my nap afterwards since it wasn't anything close to 4pm at that time but I couldn't sleep because the downpour had splashed into my room leaving me helpless and it soaked some of my properties and I had to clean the room up and kept things in order. Thank God my good Samaritan neighbour came to my aid and helped me with some chores. I thanked her after the whole work and she asked that we play ludo game to keep ourselves busy, since I'm a guru in the game, I immediately bought the idea and we began. I won her severally though she did too at intervals but I was the overall winner.

Towards evening, she left to her house while I had my bath and went to bed. That's my diary for yesterday, hope you enjoyed your read? Grateful to have you read through, see you on my next post.
