Colored lipsticks 💄

When I want to do my makeup, for several years now, I have been fascinated by wearing strong or vibrant colors on my lips.

Whenever I have to go somewhere like going out for important errands or meeting friends, I choose the lipstick that matches the clothes I will wear that day. My husband also helps me choose which one would look best on me. So I try to take time to choose the clothes, accessories and lipstick I will wear.

I remember a long time ago someone told me: "Don't wear those strong colors, because as your lips are big, they will look even bigger. Besides, they don't look good on you, they are not for you. Leave that to other women who do look good on you." Can you believe it?!

What I can say today is that I'm glad I followed my tastes and desires over what I was once told, because when I put on my lipsticks, I'm fascinated by how these colors look, plus when I see them I think, "They really are beautiful and unique."

From this I learned that feeling beautiful depends largely on myself and that I can follow my tastes, without offending others, by doing and wearing things that make me feel good 💜

Cuando quiero maquillarme, desde hace varios años, me fascina usar colores fuertes o vibrantes en mis labios.

Cada vez que tengo que ir a un sitio, como salir a hacer una diligencias importantes o reunirme con amigos, elijo el labial que combine con la ropa que usaré ese día. También mi esposo me ayuda a escoger cuál me quedaría mejor. Por eso, trato con tiempo de escoger la ropa, los accesorios y el labial que me voy a poner.

Recuerdo que hace mucho tiempo alguien me dijo: "No uses esos colores fuertes, porque como tus labios son grandes, se verán más grandes todavía. Además no te quedan bien, no son para ti. Déjale eso a otras mujeres que si les luce." ¡¿Pueden creerlo?!

Lo que puedo decir hoy es que me alegra haber seguido mis gustos y deseos por encima de eso que alguna vez me dijeron, porque cuando me echo mis labiales, me fascina como se ven estos colores, además que cuando los veo pienso: "De verdad que son bonitos y únicos".

De esto aprendí que sentirme hermosa depende en gran parte de mí misma y que puedo seguir mis gustos, sin ofender a otros, haciendo y usando cosas que me hacen sentir bien a mí 💜
