Natural Phenomenon Earth Pyramids in Northern Italy 🇮🇹

A short 5k walk to an impressive natural phenomenon called Earth Pyramids in the Ritten area of the Dolomites.
The walk itself was almost as impressive as the Earth Pyramids with endless panoramic 360 views of the mountains all around. I highly recommend this walk. You can do a shorter or longer version of the walk also.
Apprently this natural earth formations were caused by a huge storm in the 1800's which washed away all of the top soil leaving these pyramid shapes. What I can't get my head around us how the rocks are just sat on top, like a giant was playing game and came and placed them on top.
In Welsh we have a diacritic mark called a Tor Bach (See for example above the letter ô)which translate as Little House and the rocks on top remind me of this. I wonder if anyone was Wales thought the same thing when they visited.
Although the walk was only 5k we did it leisurely and took our time, we had to walk back for a GeoCache as well as I completely forgot to find it even though I had it saved and the map open on my phone ha ha
Lino loved walking this route too, plenty to smell along the way. We had done a few 10-15k walks the days earlier and wanted a more relaxed walk this time.
In on the of the photo's below you can see a tradition fence tying which I thought we should use these style fences. Very pretty and very different than the standard fences we have back in the UK.
