Paseo por Altahabana🇬🇧🇪🇸

Hello my friends of this beautiful community: #Wednesdaywalk , I have already published before some photos of places in Havana, especially old Havana and more central places, but today I bring you my little report on the neighborhood where I live, called Althabana.

It is not that everything in Cuba has the word habana 😂😅😅😅😅 but well this one also has it , it is a little further from the center and has some rural features without being rural in itself , but you can say that its green areas and nature are a little more extensive.

Hola mis amigos de esta hermosa comunidad: #Wednesdaywalk , ya he publicado antes algunas fotos de lugares de la Habana , sobre todo Habana vieja y lugares más céntricos , pero hoy les traigo mi pequeño reportaje sobre el barrio donde vivo, se llama Althabana

No es que todo en Cuba tenga la palabra habana 😂😅😅😅 pero bueno este también lo tiene , es un poco más alejado del centro y tiene algunos rasgos rurales sin serlo en si, pero se puede decir que sus áreas verdes y de naturaleza son un poco más extensas.

From my house I can go directly to this Vento avenue, which is one of the main avenues next to Boyeros and 100th street, it is a very pleasant street with its palm trees and has a crossing with the small river that crosses our neighborhood.

De mi casa puedo salir directamente a esta avenida de Vento, que es una de las principales junto a Boyeros y calle 100, es una calle bastante agradable con sus palmeras y tiene un cruce con el pequeño río que atraviesa nuestro reparto.

In this photo you can see how the bridge is and the small river that I understand is one of the tributaries of the Almendares River, which is the main river here in Havana.

En esta foto se puede ver cómo está el puente y por debajo pasa el pequeño río que tengo entendido es uno de los afluentes de río Almendares, que es el principal aquí en La Habana

The river has its beautiful parts although it is very low and is too polluted, still you can see some animals especially birds and has its parts that retain some of its original beauty.

El río tiene sus partes hermosas aunque es muy bajito y está demasiado contaminado, aún así se pueden observar algunos animales sobre todo aves y tiene sus partes que conservan un poco de su belleza original

One of its usual features are the offerings of people who practice the Yoruba religion, with African roots, practitioners worship the deity who lives in fresh water called Oshun, which is like an aphrodite, closely linked to love, beauty and even wealth. So people come to ask him and leave them sunflowers, their favorite flower.

Una de sus características habituales son las ofrendas de las personas que practican la religión yoruba, con raíces africanas, los practicantes adoran a la deidad que vive en agua dulce llamada Oshun , que viene siendo como una afrodita ,muy vinculada al amor , la belleza incluso la riqueza. Así que las personas vienen a pedirle y les dejan girasoles su flor favorita.

On the river bank grow very beautiful trees that are always green, mangos and palms are the main ones, in the morning they receive the joy of the sun and greet the earth with their shadows.

En la rivera del río crecen árboles muy bonitos, que siempre se mantienen verde, mangos y palmas son los principales, en la mañana reciben la alegría del sol y saludan a la tierra con sus sombras.

There are also many insects and other small animals like this lizard who I thinks , he was spying on me, for some reason 😂😉.

También hay muchos insectos y otros pequeños animales como está lagartija que creo, que por alguna razón, me estaba espiando 😂😉

Even its small waterfall has 😂.

Hasta su pequeña cascada tiene 😂

Then I found this crane and the pigeon playing something that I couldn't quite identify what it was, but I think they had to run through the content without falling into the water 😂.

Después me encontré a esta grulla y la paloma jugando a algo que no pude identificar bien que era , pero creo que tenían que correr por el conten sin caerse al agua 😂

This is what the river of Altahabana looks like. Sometimes I pass by to see if there is anything new to take pictures of, as it is a place in the neighborhood, that I find especially pleasant.

Así es como se ve el río de altahabana. A cada rato paso a ver si hay alguna cosa nueva para hacerle fotos, pues es un lugar en el barrio que encuentro especialmente agradable.

Already when leaving the part of the river , I liked the light on this corner and took the picture, also to show you how is the neighborhood that sometimes you see the deserted streets, as it is a very quiet place. Well without counting some neighborhoods in its periphery that are no longer so much.

Ya al salir de la parte del río me gustó la luz en esta esquina y tome la foto , también para mostrarle cómo es el barrio que a veces se ven las calles desiertas, ya que es un lugar muy tranquilo. Bueno sin contar algunos barrios en su periferia, que ya no lo son tanto.

Arriving home I wanted to take the last two photos in my garden, because some of the plants are blooming and welcomed me with their colors, to close the tour with a flourish.

Llegando a casa quise tomar las dos últimas fotos en mi jardín, pues algunas de las plantas están floreciendo y me recibieron con sus colores, para cerrar el paseo con un broche de oro.
