Greetings to all photography enthusiasts. On this occasion, I want to share a set of photographs of a cloudy sky that I captured while walking through the quiet streets of the suburbs.

I decided to take a short walk around the neighborhood, moving through the calm residential streets to clear my mind. During my stroll, I noticed that the sky was completely filled with dense cloud formations that gave the afternoon a very specific character. The lighting was soft and even, which is often ideal for capturing the details of the urban landscape without the harsh shadows of direct sunlight. Seeing the state of the sky, I decided to take out my phone and document the scene.

What caught my attention was the visual interaction between the sky and the elements of the suburbs. I focused on capturing how the massive presence of the clouds looked when combined with the asphalt of the streets, the houses, and the parked vehicles. It was a contrast that I found both curious and aesthetic; the organic, shifting shapes of the clouds above stood out against the rigid and geometric lines of the suburban architecture and the road. This mixture of natural and man-made elements creates a very particular composition that reflects the stillness of the area.

I spent some time finding the right angles to show this relationship between the ground and the horizon. These types of walks are useful for noticing details that we usually overlook when we are in a hurry. The gray tones of the sky seemed to blend naturally with the colors of the street, creating a monochromatic and sober atmosphere that I found worth recording. I simply wanted to capture the essence of that quiet walk and the way the clouds dominated the landscape during that hour.
