Hiking on Free Days

Hiking on Free Days

Hello everyone. On this occasion, I am sharing some photos captured in the middle of a forest during a hike. About a month ago, one of my cousins and I took advantage of a few free days over the weekend to go hiking up a local mountain. This specific trail is not very crowded, which is exactly why we chose it. It is a quiet route that allows for a more focused experience without the usual noise of more popular spots.

While moving through the trails, I took the opportunity to document the sky and the branches of the trees from various angles. The elements of nature combined with the light of the day offer a specific view that is hard to find elsewhere. On these paths, it is practically impossible to see the sky completely. The trees are always in the way, their branches interweaving and blocking the full view of the horizon, but that is precisely what makes the environment feel welcoming.

I find that the way the forest inmingles with the open air creates a solid, enclosed atmosphere. There are no distractions there, just the terrain and the vegetation. We spent a good part of the morning climbing, focusing on the pace and the physical effort required by the steep sections of the mountain. Despite the exertion, a hike through these natural trails is the most effective way to clear the mind and disconnect from the usual routine.

It was a relaxing weekend spent moving through a landscape that, although close to the city, feels like a completely different world.

I also wanna add, that i feel satisfied with these pictures. They represent a brief moment of stillness and the physical challenge of the ascent. I hope you find this look at the local mountain trails interesting.

Without anything more to add, I bid farewell. Stay tuned for future posts! Until next time!
